Evaluating Pre-production Documents

Why evaluate pre-prod docs? Evaluating the effectiveness of pre-prodction documentation is vital in ensuring that the final version that is sent to the production team is effective. If documents aren't checked, they could be the case of a major planning problem, so it is important that the quality of the documents is evaluated. Concept Art, Visualisation Diagrams, Flat Plans, Prototypes and Mock Ups

Concept Art- Concept Art is trying to get a message across. It represents a message or idea. It is important because Visualisation Diagrams- These explain what things are going to look like. they don't have to stay the same. It is useful as it allows everyone to view something in a similar way. Flat Plans- It helps one to understand how the magazine would be. These are used for magazines, newspapers, brothers and newsletters. Used to demonstrate the magazine as a whole. Prototypes- A practice version of something. Used to test out functionality. Mockups-It is used to gather an idea and too see what it looks like on a product. Mock ups are created and used to test on various products. They allow you to see what different logos will look like on different products.
